Teaching Adjustments

We could all use more training to be the best teacher we can be. Which of these areas of study do you feel like would make you feel like a safer, more effective, and more confident yoga teacher?

I want to learn more about muscle and joint anatomy and how they are affected by yoga.

I want to better understand how yoga affects the physiology of the nervous system.

I want to read and discuss yoga philosophy and better understand the history of modern yoga practice.

I need practice creating and implementing lesson plans.

I need guidance on how to safely and confidently give adjustments.

I need more practice teaching with supervision and feedback.

"I consider enrolling in your yoga teacher training not just a decision to become a yoga teacher, but a decision to follow a dream and to create a better life for myself. When the student is ready the teacher will be there and that couldn't be more true. I had already been inspired by your yoga teaching and your willingness to take chances and follow your dreams (opening the Om Room and then later NOURISH). When I began your yoga teacher training program I was inspired not to just teach yoga according to textbooks, but to teach from the heart. If I am a good yoga teacher, it is because you have inspired me to be the best yoga teacher I can be and to teach from my heart. You continue to inspire me, thank you Victor."

"Victor Dubin's 200-hour yoga teacher training program is a well organized continuous cycle of classes. Allowing students to begin the program anywhere in the cycle, also allowing students to make up a module if needed. Pay as you go, two classes a week, this program is very practical-no need to rearrange one's life. Victor's vast knowledge of the Yoga practice shines with his passion and high quality of teaching. His "nondenominational' approach to yoga is not only inspiring its life changing, truly allowing students to learn how unique all bodies are. Not only did I become a confident Yoga teacher I found a safe community for in depth self exploration leading to self discovery. I recommend this teacher training to anyone and everyone! Being a member of the Nourish community is heart opening. Nourish to promote growth~ "
